FAQ

How do I attend a class at Yoga Shala?

Before attending a class, you must have a Yoga Shala Mindbody account which is quick and easy to create. Reserve your spot in a class at least 30 minutes ahead of time, and please bring a mat if you’re coming in person.

If you have previously been to Yoga Shala, then you already have a Mindbody account with us. Please do not create a duplicate account. Use the Yoga Shala Mindbody Page to sign in.

How will I receive the link to my online class?

You will receive an email with the class link 20-30 minutes prior to the class start time. If you don’t receive it, check your spam folder, and if it’s still missing, email us at info@yogashalaboulder.com.

What props do I need for the online class?

Ideally you’ll have a yoga mat, two blocks, and a belt available for the class. We also sometimes use blankets, a chair without arms, a bolster, and an open wall. Read here for more information about online classes.

How should I position my mat and device when taking an online class?

Please set up your mat with the long edge parallel to your screen. To help us see you, put your device 6-8 feet away from your mat up on a chair or table. Visit this page for a photo of how to set up.
